Witer flying for drone pilots can be increadibly fun! Greater quality air is better for flying, and there are many, many fun things to shoot, such as winter sports events, beautiufl winter scenes and more! However, whatever you plan on doing this upcoming Winter season, remember to always check your bettery levels!
Colder temperatures mean lower flight times due to battery levels draining faster. Even if your battery indicates 30% remaining, be sure to build in extra time to fly home safely, because the battery level may actually be lower than indicated, and can drain much, much faster! Many drones are designed to operate above -10C, but here in Canada, we often have temperatures below -20C, so be sure to always go over your saftey check lists sucha s checking the weather and your drones' operating handbook for operating temperature ranges! Best of luck for this Winter season, and as always, happy landings! Henry! :D
