Hello, everyone! Just a quick update on our company!
We are No Longer on Facebook
We have elected to delete our facebook page. We want to support platforms that value facts, and the truth, and we don't believe facebook meets our qualifications, hence as of today, we will no longer have a presence there. We do, however remain on other platforms such as Vimeo, Youtube and Twitter. Be sure to follow us on Instagram too! Use the social icons on the top right of our site to check them out!
We've dropped Dropbox and are now using Sync.com and Microsoft 365
To further develop our belief of privacy and keeping all data within Canada, we have changed over to the Canadian cloud site Sync.com. We will use this service to transfer your files to you once they are ready. Your data (unlike Dropbox) will always stay in Canada, and will be encrypted in the cloud and in transit when you download! It's a win-win in our books, and same for our customers!
We have, and will continue to use Microsoft Outlook and Onedrive for our continued contact with costumers, we have had a positive experience with it since the beginning and will continue to use these services.
Let us know if you ever have any questions in regards to our business or our policies.
Please stay safe and healthy during these days!
Hello, everyone! Henry here. I would first like to thank our local community, friends and family for the support and encouragement during these times.
Just like every other start to the drone season, we have returned! We are fully ready for the Summer months ahead! While we have a few new changes such as contact-less service (No meeting clients in person at this time), we are ready to give another season of our 110% effort, skills and technology.
Please use our contact form to find out more on how to contact us, and if you have any questions on our services.
Please stay healthy and safe, and as always,
Fly Safe, and Happy Landings!
We hope everyone is staying happy and healthy! To keep you busy, here's a new video from our team!
All the best!
Hello, all! My name is Henry Baillie-Brown, and I am the founder and Operations Manager for Air Support Aerial Photography. First, a quick background and thank-you section:
A.S.A.P. Started in May of 2013 with a dream of mine: To combine my love of aviation and multi-media. With over 5+ years of experience, hundreds of successful flights, many happy clients and many lessons both taught and learned, I believe that I was successful in my personal goals. What I didn't expect was the amazing support that came out of the local Ontario community in my adventures and the amazing people that networked with me and supported my dreams. To all of these amazing people, Thank you! Also a huge thank you to the many friends and family who have helped me over the years with both volunteering their work, as well as helping me VIA moral support.
Most importantly, a HUGE thank you to my Mum and Dad <3 Both acting as my spotters and "employees", but also as the world's best parents ever. They always believed in me and kept me going even in the hardest of the times. You two are the best. I love you, and thank you so much for everything (Including you, Walter!!! (My amazing dog)).
OK, with that out of the way, now onto the main purpose of this post. I am putting A.S.A.P. into "Hibernation Mode". I am NOT closing Air Support, and the site, email and phone lines will remain open for you (the public) to use! What is happening is that a life changing event has occurred on my end:
I started A.S.A.P. as a coop experience. During my studies at Georgian college, instead of working for another company, I decided to start my own as my coop. (you can now see the results of that!).
Today, I am announcing that I have taken the next step on my path through life and have accepted full-time employment at an AMAZING aviation-related company. Therefor, this new career path will become my primary focus for the next while and I will not be able to run ASAP as I did before. I still want to both support the amazing community we have become apart of, as well as continue to do the odd drone shoot or photo shoot, but things will have to be more coordinated farther in advance than before and I will not have as much free time.
If you ever have any questions in regards to this post, asking ASAP to do a job or just general Q&A, contact us!
Thank you again for all of your support, and here's to a great future for us all! Happy landings, and as always, fly safe!

Here is the latest video from the team! We hope everyone enjoys their Spring!
Very Exciting news indeed! First reported here off of DJI's news page, DJI drones (list in the link) are now allowed to be in controlled airspace as well as flying over people under the new Transport Canada rules set to come into effect this June 1st.
As a DJI drone operator ourselves, this opens up so many new, unique and exciting opportunities to both us and our clients. We are excited to provide amazing aerial media in a safe, professional and privacy-respecting manner. Indeed, Canada has done a very good job with the new rules thus far. Any thoughts or questions? Let us know in the comments below!
Other artists understand that doing ones' art often comes as a price. When one has a friend who is an amazing painter and one asks them to do free work, it can often be a smack in the face for the artist, for the work itself has value, not to mention the paints, brushes, canvas and possible lessons and LOTS time put into perfecting their skills. The same goes for aerial multi-media.
While we remain one of the best for competitive pricing, there are many factors that the public doesn't think about when asking a company for a quote. Common Things that are expenses can include:
As one can see, running a small biz can have more overhead than one might think! Luckily, A.S.A.P. Does out best to give our clients the best and most competitive pricing for the best media for our clients!
If you ever have any questions on why a shoot costs as it does, don't be afraid to ask the people you are hiring, but chances are, some of the elements listed above may come up! At the end of the day, remember you ARE supporting small biz!
Let's celebrate spring with a sale! Get 10% off your order when you use Promo code: ASAPSPRING19 when you book us! (Just mention the code in the email, contact form or over the phone!). Let's get working on your next project!
Note this offer is valid between May 15, 2019 to June 1, 2019. Limit one use per customer
The results are in, and they look great! Under the new Transport Canada rules for drones starting June 1st, 2019, RPAS operators (drones are now called RPAS) are required to hold Basic or Advanced certificates to fly RPAS commercially. We at ASAP officially received our Advanced Certification this past weekend are are proud to announce this means we will continue to be able to provide our amazing services and media and are now available in even more and unique locations! For more information, feel free to contact us directly!
Thank you to all who have supported us on our journey over the years, and here's to the many more to come!
